NCAA registration for the 2011 baseball season is currently underway. Umpires from all levels are invited and encouraged to take advantage of all that is offered on the NCAA baseball umpire website. Registrants will receive a Welcome Package that will include a copy of the new 2011-2012 NCAA Baseball Rules book as well as a copy of the 2011 CCA Baseball Umpires Manual. Please allow 7 to 10 days after the date of your registration for delivery of your package .
Your registration will also entitle you to a special offer on a newly-required on-field stopwatch from Honig's Whistle Stop; $3.95 off one model or $7.95 off another model. Details will be included with your Welcome Package. New in 2011 on our website is a searchable rules database. The database places NCAA's baseball rules at your electronic command. The new offering can be accessed by clicking on Rules Book tab on your Home Plate central hub. Those who register will of course receive access to the high-powered content successful umpires have come to expect and rely on, including the annual NCAA online rules test, web-based video delivery, video bulletins from National Coordinator Gene McArtor, rule interpretations and current educational material from the NCAA. The online Preseason Rules Test began Sunday January 30 and ran through February 13.
