Umpires are trained and evaluated on the prescribed NCAA mechanics. This camp is held in conjunction with the Crush Softball Tournament. Camp is designed for all levels of collegiate softball umpires who want to improve their game. Umpires will be evaluated at all 3 umpiring positions during the 3 days. Classroom training Friday morning with games starting at noon.

Campers are evaluated on their use and knowledge of prescribed NCAA Mechanics. This camp is held in conjunction with the Colorado Fireworks Tournament and is designed specifically for umpires who are currently working at the NCAA Div I and II levels and want to improve their game. One day campers are added to the camp when their check is received. Checks should be made out to DLN ENTERPRISES and addressed to 2430 S SALIDA WAY, AURORA, CO 80013. It may be possible for Campers to work the entire Colorado Fireworks Tournament. Applications are added to a "Wait List" and priority is given to the earliest applicants first by date received. |

Umpires will have a “3 to 1” umpire/trainer ratio. The best trainers in the sport will be on hand to evaluate your performance on all 3 days of the camp and will provide you helpful information concerning your use of the standard mechanics, positioning, concepts, philosophies and more, in accordance to the CCA Softball Umpires Manual. You will receive information on and off the field with an effective hands-on and direct approach. This camp is for those umpires who already have a working knowledge of the 3-umpire system, have a good grasp on the rules of softball and need help boosting their game to the next level.
NOTE: Campers are responsible for providing their own transportation to the camp and required to arrive on Thursday for the clinic/meeting.
