Use this form to submit a proposal to be considered by the rules committee at its annual meeting in June. Please list the rule you wish to revise and provide a brief rationale. Submitted forms will be sent to Dee Abrahamson, Secretary-rules editor. Proposals must be submitted by Thursday, March 31, 2013, to be considered for the rules survey, which will be distributed in May.

Please submit each proposal on a separate form.

NCAA Softball Rules Committee

In an effort to encourage and facilitate input for NCAA Softball Rules from coaches, umpires and the greater softball community, the NCAA Softball Rules Committee will continue to use a rules-change proposal and survey process for use in completing the next edition of the Softball Rules and Interpretations Book.

The rules-change proposal form  below is an opportunity for you to suggest rules and/or rules changes for consideration by the committee. Proposals should be submitted by Thursday, March 31, 2011 for consideration.

The rules committee will evaluate all rules-change proposals. Rules-change proposals on which the committee would like feedback from the softball community will be compiled into an online survey format.  Umpires will be notified of the online survey link in May. The online survey is an opportunity for you to agree, disagree and/or comment on the proposed rules changes.
