Jeff Triplette

Jeff Triplette

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO and President of ArbiterSports, Jeff combines his passion for sports officiating with his skill in managing high performance teams. Prior to ArbiterSports, Jeff founded Triplette Advisors, a risk management and turnaround consultancy, and also served as President and COO for FNC, Inc., a pioneer in real estate collateral information technology. Before FNC, Jeff served at Duke Energy Corporation for 32 years in a number of senior leadership roles including President and CEO of Bison Insurance Company, Duke’s captive insurance subsidiary. In his 18th season as an NFL official, Jeff also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO) and as President of the National Football League Referees Association (NFLRA). A retired Colonel with over 32 years of service in the U.S. Army National Guard and Reserve, Jeff was awarded the Bronze Star while serving in the first Persian Gulf War. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wake Forest University.

Brad Labrum

Chief Operating Officer

Brad brings a passion for sports and years of progressive operational leadership to the role of Chief Operating Officer for ArbiterSports. Brad began his career in manufacturing and progressed through various management roles culminating in senior responsibility for multi-state operations at a global baking industry company. While overseeing multi-million-dollar manufacturing operations, Brad’s collaborative leadership style and process innovation resulted in millions of dollars in savings. Most recently, Brad served as COO for a Utah-based electronic payment and processing company. He holds a BS in Biology and an MBA from Southern Utah University. He lives in Northern Utah with his wife and four children.

Jeremy Brown

Chief Technology Officer

As a member of the ArbiterSports executive team, Jeremy oversees software architecture, user interface design, and quality assurance for the entire family of ArbiterSports products. Before joining ArbiterSports, Jeremy worked as a senior software engineer and software director for Novell, Ping Identity and Echopass, creating software designed improve user experience and increase efficiency. Jeremy holds a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, a Master in Education in Instructional Technology from Utah State University, and an MBA in Technology Management from Westminster College. He currently resides in Bluffdale, Utah with his wife and five children.

Brenda Rees

Brenda Rees

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining the ArbiterSports team, Brenda served as CFO at a large hospital. She has held numerous finance positions throughout her career, including internal and external auditor for companies in the healthcare industry. She has also provided accounting services to small private companies. Brenda has also served as an accounting instructor at the University of Nebraska where she was a PhD candidate in accounting. She is a graduate of Utah State University with an ungraduate degree in accounting and a graduate degree in business administration. Brenda is a certified public accountant and a certified internal auditor.

Chief Sales Officer

Clark is well versed in all things ArbiterSports, leading the ArbiterSports sales team since 2004 and the customer service team since 1997, and managing ArbiterPay sales and operations since 2011. Starting with ArbiterSports from its earliest beginnings, Clark prides himself on knowing thousands of clients and most industry leaders personally. Many of his closest friends are found among the company’s clients and partners. Clark holds BA’s in Finance and Mandarin from the University of Utah, and an MBA from Brigham Young University. He lives in Mill Creek, Utah with his wife and four children.

Spencer Evans

VP of Sales

Spencer has been at ArbiterSports since 2000 and manages the ArbiterSports sales team. Like his father and founder of ArbiterSports, Reid Evans, Spencer possesses the entrepreneurial spirit, which fuels the company’s success. A self-proclaimed road warrior, Spencer enjoys making personal client visits and helping them get the full benefit of their ArbiterSports solution. Spencer is passionate about sports and crisscrosses the country to attend virtually any kind of sporting event. Spencer earned his BS in Management from Brigham Young University. He and his wife live in Sandy, Utah, with their five children.

Daren Jackson

VP of ArbiterPay

As the founder of ArbiterPay, Daren successfully combined his passions of sports officiating and the prepaid banking market. Daren began his professional career in Bank Management and has worked for multiple regional and national banks. Eventually, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to leave banking and become a full time entrepreneur. Daren has worked and consulted with hundreds of municipalities, non-profits, and organizations of all sizes to implement payment solutions and strategies both domestic and internationally. Daren has a BS in Economics and a MBA. In addition to his entrepreneurial efforts, Daren has taught classes in academia in entrepreneurship, finance, and accounting. Daren has officiated basketball at the high school and collegiate level for 15+ years. He and his wife live in North Logan, UT with their three children.

Product Manager

Nate has followed in the professional footsteps of his two older brothers, Clark and Spencer and leads ArbiterSports’ Product Management and Customer Support teams. Passionate about improving the user experience and feature set, Nate maintains close contact with clients and the customer support team to ensure customer feedback guides the company’s development priorities. He still loves playing indoor soccer and basketball. Nate received his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Brigham Young University. Nate lives in Sandy, UT with his wife and son.

Dean Dominguez

Human Resources Manager

Dean joined the ArbiterSports team in November 2015 as the Human Resources Manager.  His extensive professional experience with employee relations and performance management make him a great addition to the company.  Dean’s proven track record of implementing workforce plans to ensure cohesive teams and maximize productivity contributes to the overall company vision.  Prior to joining ArbiterSports, he worked as a Human Resource Business Partner with Zions Bank where he became well versed in local, state and federal legislation affecting corporate policies and procedures.   A graduate of Utah State University, and a passionate Aggie fan, Dean received his MA degree from Webster University.  He completed his Professional in Human Recourses certification in 2015.   Dean lives in Murray with his wife Kim and their two sons, Braedon and Reilly.

VP of Officiating Education

Dave oversees the Officiating Education at ArbiterSports, working closely with national and state governing bodies to develop and distribute their officiating training programs. He is also an active NCAA Division I Baseball umpire and works as an Instant Replay Communicator for the NFL. Dave is the former National Coordinator of NCAA Baseball Umpires (1996-2008), and has served on the board of the National Association of Sports Officials, was an umpire at the 1996 Olympics, the 1993 and 1999 Intercontinental Cups, and the 1990 World Championships; and was 1999 International Baseball Federation Umpire of the Year.

Zack Leister

Software Development Manager

Zack brings more than 17 years of software experience in industries including finance, insurance, marketing and the public sector to his role as the Software Development Manager at ArbiterSports. He oversees the day-to-day operation of the ArbiterSports Engineering team and also works closely with our CTO, product managers and IT department to help build ArbiterSports’ industry-leading suite of applications.  Zack earned a BA in Broadcast Communications from Brigham Young University. He is an avid CrossFitter and Bay Area sports fan and will also make time for a round of golf or softball game whenever possible.  He lives in Herriman, Utah with his wife and four children.

Jake Hill

IT Manager

Jake brings more than 10 years of information technology experience to his role as the Director of IT at ArbiterSports, where he oversees the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure and systems.  He manages the ever-expanding cluster of servers at Arbiter’s data center and the many IT needs at their call center and headquarters in Sandy, Utah. He is an avid Golfer, loves the outdoors, and even runs a half marathon each year.  He lives in Provo, Utah with his wife and three children.

Bobbi Edmunds

Bobbi Edmunds

Director of Officiating Education

Bobbi has been a member of the ArbiterSports Officiating Education team since 2010, working primarily on NCAA and NFHS accounts.  She is the go-to resource for groups using ArbiterSports’ tools for managing the education and certification of officials.  She has a Bachelor of Science in English, with a Professional and Technical Writing Emphasis.  She is entering her nineteenth consecutive year as a soccer parent, during which time she has learned that comments from the sidelines are neither helpful nor appreciated.  Bobbi lives with her husband and three children in Layton, Utah.
