OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
As CEO and President of ArbiterSports, Jeff combines his passion for sports officiating with his skill in managing high performance teams. Prior to ArbiterSports, Jeff founded Triplette Advisors LLC, a risk management and turnaround consultancy, and also served as President and COO for FNC, Inc., a pioneer in real estate collateral information technology. Before FNC, Jeff served at Duke Energy Corporation for 32 years in a number of senior leadership roles including President and CEO of Bison Insurance Company, Duke’s captive insurance subsidiary. Jeff recently retired after 22 years as an NFL official and is the past Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO) and past President of the National Football League Referees Association (NFLRA). A retired Colonel with over 32 years of service in the U.S. Army National Guard and Reserve, Jeff was awarded the Bronze Star while serving in the first Persian Gulf War. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wake Forest University where he also serves on its Board of Visitors for the School of Business and is a Trustee with the Utah Technology Council. He is also the rules analyst for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” broadcasts.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
As a member of the ArbiterSports executive team, John leads the finance, accounting, treasury and planning functions at the company. He has a 20+ years of functional experience covering FP&A, mergers and acquisitions, accounting oversight/policy, treasury management and compliance. John’s background also includes seven years of hands-on operational experience and five years of experience as a board member and audit committee chairman at a publicly-traded insurance agency and brokerage. His broad industry expertise covers software, financial services, aerospace/manufacturing and retail with a range of companies, including Citrix Systems, Zions Bancorporation, Bank of America (NationsBank), Coltec Industries, Quotesmith and McDonalds. John holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a BS in Finance from the University of Utah.
CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER
As CRO and a member of the ArbiterSports executive team, Jeff leads all revenue functions for the company. Jeff’s background includes helping launch the first ever adult learning platform in the education market which grew to over one million registered educators across all fifty states, three USA territories, eight Canadian provinces, and three European countries. Jeff’s deep knowledge of the education industry at the national policy level to state initiatives and district implementation of technology brings an expanded skill set to ArbiterSports. Prior to joining ArbiterSports, Jeff held senior level and executive positions at ContentWatch, School Improvement Network, Agilix, and most recently Renaissance Learning. He is also the founder of INQUIS and SyncScience. Jeff holds a bachelor of science degree from Brigham Young University-Hawaii and currently resides in Draper, UT with his wife and three children.
Chief Product Officer
Karen is a seasoned product manager, software engineer and business analyst with two decades of experience overseeing the development of new products. Before joining ArbiterSports, Mogridge served in several positions at financial services giant CoreLogic, including Senior Professional Product Manager, Director of Quality Assurance, Director of Special Projects and Senior Business Analyst. She also worked as a software engineer with F-22 Lockheed Martin and combined her love of cycling and non-profits to make key contributions to several organizations including the GOAL Foundation, Mercury Cycling, Safe Routes to School National Partnership and Bike Walk Mississippi. Mogridge holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Valdosta State University. She and her husband live in Ogden, Utah with their rescue dogs and cat.
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
As a member of the ArbiterSports executive team, Jeremy oversees software architecture, user interface design, and quality assurance for the entire family of ArbiterSports products. Before joining ArbiterSports, Jeremy worked as a senior software engineer and software director for Novell, Ping Identity and Echopass, creating software designed improve user experience and increase efficiency. Jeremy holds a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, a Master in Education in Instructional Technology from Utah State University, and an MBA in Technology Management from Westminster College. He currently resides in Bluffdale, Utah with his wife and five children.
VP of Business Development
Clark is well versed in all things ArbiterSports, having managed its sales team, its customer service team, and ArbiterPay sales and operations. Starting with ArbiterSports from its earliest beginnings, Clark prides himself on knowing thousands of clients and most industry leaders personally and is now focused on developing new business opportunities with national governing bodies and associations. Many of his closest friends are among the company’s clients and partners. Clark holds BA’s in Finance and Mandarin from the University of Utah, and an MBA from Brigham Young University. He lives in Mill Creek, Utah with his wife and four children.
VP of Officiating Education
Dave oversees the officiating education, working closely with national and state governing bodies to develop and distribute their officiating training programs. He is an active NCAA Division I Baseball coordinator and works as an Instant Replay Official for the PAC12. Dave is the former National Coordinator of NCAA Baseball Umpires (1996-2008), and has served on the board of the National Association of Sports Officials. He was an umpire at the 1996 Olympics, the 1993 and 1999 Intercontinental Cups, and the 1990 World Championships. In 1999, he received the International Baseball Federation Umpire of the Year award.
Human Resources Manager
Dean joined the ArbiterSports team in November 2015 as the Human Resources Manager. His extensive professional experience with employee relations and performance management make him a great addition to the company. Dean’s proven track record of implementing workforce plans to ensure cohesive teams and maximize productivity contributes to the overall company vision. Prior to joining ArbiterSports, he worked as a Human Resource Business Partner with Zions Bank where he became well versed in local, state and federal legislation affecting corporate policies and procedures. A graduate of Utah State University, and a passionate Aggie fan, Dean received his MA degree from Webster University. He completed his Professional in Human Recourses certification in 2015. Dean lives in Murray with his wife Kim and their two sons, Braedon and Reilly.
Director of Sales Operations
As Customer Success Manager of ArbiterSports, Dustin oversees customer implementation, support and account management. Prior to joining ArbiterSports, Dustin spent 10 years as a professional simulation consultant at FlexSim Software Products where he developed 3D simulations, identified inefficiencies, provided customer care and suggested business process improvements for multi-million dollar corporations. Dustin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from Brigham Young University. Dustin is a lifelong soccer player and passionate sports fan.
